Praxis has developed a product leadership program that transcends the traditional product “skill-focused” methods. By creating a servant leadership model, Praxis helps establish a sturdy foundation for Product Teams, providing the skills, support, and actionable steps needed to navigate everything from a product launch to product development in the time of COVID-19 and beyond.
From our research, we found the typical product team often faces challenges aligning different perspectives across the organization without creating fractures or ineffective products.
From our research, we found the typical product team often faces challenges aligning the different perspectives and priorities across the organization with other departments such as Customer Support, Sales, Operations, and Marketing. At a time where we are collaborating more than ever, Praxis is redefining the methods in which we communicate effectively to achieve more, both as a Product Team and in cross-organization partnerships. Through the core principles of self-awareness, interpersonal communication, and skill mastery, Praxis helps organizations build healthy teams who can achieve breakthrough results.
Praxis launched its first cohort-based program in early 2020. In its short time, the program has helped product leaders from Microsoft, PayPal, and more, take their product management skills to the next level and become servant-leaders.
Our structure is unique, instead of a single point in time training, we offer regular cohort-based meetings, with smaller group breakouts, structured curriculum, and individualized 1:1 support to focus on core goals and outcomes.
Based on the transformative feedback of our participants and the success of this cohort-based model, we are now planning our next cohort for Product Teams.
If you want to…
- Establish a culture of product team as servant-leader
- Become a more productive, profitable, and principled Product Team
- Strengthen individual product team skills and product acumen
- Develop and understand the mechanics behind breakthrough products
Then this program is for you and your team. Our cohorts are COVID-19 ready. We are a remote program and leverage web-conferencing and classroom management software to foster group cohesion and individual training. Through an 8-month journey, you’ll see and experience your Product Team and product outcomes transform.
Praxis Product Leadership was founded by Mikal Lewis, a seasoned Product Executive with Microsoft, Nordstrom, and startup product leadership experience. Mikal has lead teams that have achieved success on several scales, but it’s been through his passion for coaching where the most transformational impacts have taken place. As a product leader, Mikal developed a skill for helping even the most experienced product management, design, engineering individual contributors and leaders achieve more.
Praxis Product Leadership was founded by Mikal Lewis, a seasoned Product Executive with Microsoft, Nordstrom, and startup product leadership experience.
Mikal found that the key is to rewire the mechanics of how teams approach Product Management, away from the tactics of how—into the first principles of why. The outcome is Praxis Product Leadership, a first-principles, servant-leadership approach to product leadership. With product leaders are often balancing coaching, executing, and shepherding vision, especially on leaner teams. And while coaching is the highest leverage tool, it also gives way to more urgent priorities. Praxis helps your team and product reach the next level.
